Description Nisqually River Valley, Mt. Rainier National Park. The heavily eroded banks are evidence of the November 6, 2006 flood when a Pineapple Express storm from Hawaii dropped 18 inches of rain in 36 hours. Over a year later, along with millions of dollars, much of the park is still in disrepair.
