Description

The future looks bright for Sarah, she got in her choice university as a scholar, made it into the cheerleading team and had some offers for some TV commercials. Little did she know that her life would take a turn that will change her forever. One night after cheerleading practice, Sarah went back to her dorm. After a cold shower, she was surprised to find a guy in her room. Alarmed, she tried to call attention, but she was gassed causing her to lose consciousness. She was taken into an abandoned construction yard where she was raped by four men. Not taking any chances, the men agreed to silenced her and beat her up to death. She screamed in pain and agony. Later, she fell silent when one of the men hit her in the head with a steel pipe. One of the men repeatedly hit her several times more just to make sure she’s a goner. Left for dead in that construction yard, she miraculously woke up. Feeling an intense and tearing pain she shrieked and twitched several times. She somehow managed to gather up her remaining strength and crawl her way to the street where she was later helped by a passerby.

She was in a coma for 3 weeks. Doctors also said that there is no guarantee that Sarah will be back into her former self considering the injuries she suffered. Waking up in her hospital bed in intensive care, she suddenly felt a searing pain across her face. She let out a gut-wrenching cry and passed out afterwards. This happened a couple of times more before her situation stabilized. One day she was allowed to sit up on her bed. Looking through the window she saw her faint reflection. Her lower jaw damaged beyond reconstruction, her left temple swollen. She cried bitterly. She still feels these gut-wrenching pains at various intervals. The doctors explained that it might’ve been brought up by her severe head injuries and they decided to have her scanned. Her neurologist was surprised about the results. Her brain is firing up electrical synapses thrice a normal person’s brain would. Her pain receptors were amplified ten times which explains the severe pain she feels.

One day while a newbie nurse was giving her meds, she felt the searing pain in her head again. The nurse thought she was pretending to be in pain and told her to cut it out. Enraged, she looked at the nurse and told her that she has no idea about the pain she suffered. Suddenly the nurse was in severe pain which made her scream and pass out. Sarah then realized that she might have this ability to transfer her pain to others. She tries it on other persons to confirm it and it works every time on her command.

A month passed in the hospital, Sarah saw a video which showed escaped patients from a psychiatric facility exhibiting supernatural abilities. She also heard the man talked about “embracing gifts”. Twisted by the idea that she is far superior than everybody else, and that she is “gifted”, Sarah tells her family that she wants to “heed the call to awaken”. Worried that she’s experiencing some psychological disorder, her parents decided to transfer her to a psychological institution. A day before her transfer Sarah broke out of the hospital by using her newfound abilities. This made her more confident that she is powerful than anyone else. Days later, she passed by a cosplay store, she took a horror catsuit and mask and rendered all the employees with agonizing pain. That was her first criminal activity. Later, she made it to the Secret Society’s target list. But with her developing powers all agents that were sent to apprehend her failed. The Society then decided to use the last resort. Their own group of elite supers were dispatched to collect her. Sarah knew it would be tough, but she isn’t going to back down, not after all the things the world did to her.
