Ruby's journey across three different dimensions to chase after Dr. Merlot and his team has finally come full circle with all of them returning to Remnant. Although like before back on Crysis and Halo, Merlot used whatever allies he made to keep Ruby busy long enough for him to open a portal and escape. The dimension Ruby was in previously was called Hell (or at least Doom's Hell) where the things keeping her busy were Demons of different variety and using few explosive barrels and a grenade she was able to close the portal after she left.

When she arrived back to the Salem's base she was surprised to see that only an hour has passed since she entered the portal despite the amount of time she has spent in each three dimensions. This confirmed the suspension Ruby had when she arrived at the Halo Universe and learned that Dr. Merlot and his team were that for a month despite her entering the portal an hour behind them. Merlot somehow added time travel to the portals of his machines so that his team could spend as much time as they needed to gather equipment and allies to bring back to Remnant without leaving Salem at a disadvantage for a second or hour in this case. Now let's see what been up to since they got back.

Looking over from a cliff Ruby spotted Salem's base, her team and the allies she had Merlot recruit during their mission. A small army of Ceph from Crysis, another army of Elites, Grunts, Brutes, Jackals, Skirmishers and Hunters, a horde of Demons and a good chuck of anyone of Remnant who joined Salem's army. On a closer examination, Ruby spotted the most technical and supportive members of each group helping with any technology, armor or magic to better their chances. A few Ceph without their exoskeletons (she could see ice forming around them, possibly Merlot giving them some comfort to work), an Engineer or two helping with some machinery and a few Summoners summoning more Demons or giving some members of this mesh mash army some Runes.

Seeing of this Ruby quickly went over all of her possible options, which was quite quick due to her Nanosuit. The best would be to find her Team and inform them of this army and plan out their plan of attack but considering the size of this army and the amount of work they are getting done, it might not be the best idea to do that. There is strength in numbers so that could help her take down this army since that's how most things were accomplished here on Remnant but trying to gather the amount of people to help win this might take the same amount time it did during her travels in Crysis and Salem's army would already be attacking them. Although, Ruby could sabotage some of their equipment and take out a few key members in their army to buy time for a counter attack yet there's a chance they could send something to track her and listen in on their plans.

There was one option left that could be the best choice for this: Ruby going against this army and ending it here. As it stands she has all the necessary equipment and weaponry to take handle each faction of this army. The Nanosuit being a reversed engineered suit of Ceph technology, Mjolnir armor designed to enhance a Spartan's already superhuman feats with thrusters and shield made from studying Elite shielding tech and Runes used by the Doom Slayer to better Rip and Tear demons. Even Ruby's own Silver Eyed Warrior power could give her a slight boost in fighting this army.

Well, time to see if she can live up to the legends of her bloodline and the warriors of the worlds she had the honor of seeing. This rose's thorns are sharper than they appear.
