I like the angle this was drawn out. So commonly battles of this nature are drawn from the top. Very awesome work.

The thing is, just because of what the likely name of that ship is, it's going to win. Hard.

You know what, did anyone even ready the opening sequence of star wars "A long time ago in galaxy far far away." Milky way to Star Wars Galaxy 11.5 Trillion light years. Star terk takes place after "A long time ago." how do you know that in the 24th century, people in the star wars universe are still alive? Galactic Armegedon could have happened.

Maybe it could be one of those episodes where the starship Enterprise goes back in time. But this time they go way back in time. Maybe Q would do it just for his own amusement.

This is a beautiful piece of art, but I see things a little diffreantly.
A single Borg Tactical Cube could conquor the Death Star, or even the Galexy Gun for that matter.
The traditional response to ANY hostile force is to fire upon the oncoming ship. Turbolasers may skim a few circuts from the Tactical Cube, but would quickly become unusable due to the fact that the Borg can adapt their sheilds to BLOCK previously encountered energy weapons.
To give the Star Wars fanatics ANOTHER benifit, let's say that the Death Star uses it's Superlaser and pokes a hole through the Borg Tactical Cube.
It has been observed that a STANDARD borg cube can operate even with 80% of the ship either damaged or destroyed. Now, taken into acount that this is a TACTICAL cube, not only would the Superlaser fired by the Death Star punch a minor hole in the cube, but the Cube would now adapt to the Superlasers frequency.
Again, I'll give the Star Wars fanatics a way out. Let's say that 85% of the Tactical Cube has been rendered inoperable. In this case, the ship would autoaticly "heal" itself. In junction with this happening, there would have no doubt been a firefight between the two ships. At one point, the death stars sheilds would have gone out. A small team of Borg would sieze this moment to invade the said ship. A few Borg may be killed, but the remaining instantly adapt to the laser rifle frequency used by the infantry in the Death Star. While I say this, let me also bring up the point that LASERS do not effect federation ships and nor do they effect Borg infantry. So... Time passes and the borg have assmilited a portion of the Death Stars crew. I guess that by now, Darth Vader decides to get his lazy ass out of his chamber and deal with this matter himself. No doubt, he would use his light saber. The blade is an energy beam, and as with any OTHER energy beam, it can be adapted to. In SMALL amount of time it takes for Darth Vader to realize exactly what's going on, he would have been assimilated as well. I can back up ANY of these claims if anyone wishes to dispute them. But I believe that my point is clear.... Of course... if you think the Borg are bad... Maybe you should take a look at Species 8472.... They vaporize borg cubes, and their ships are acutaly living oragnisms. The Species 8472 themselves are Massive. They walk on four legs and stand roughly 7-8 feet tall. They're imune to phaser fire and thus uneffected by lasers. They travel in groups and they can breathe in space. They're undetectable by sensors, and are telekentic beings. A single Species 8472 can sabatoge a starship. Imagine what s group of these beasts can do. The starship Voyager was barely able to evade destruction against a WOUNDED Species 8427. We're talking about a ship with advanced senors. When these creatures attack from their ships, they bombard their targets with cascading energy weapons. They attack in groups and their ships are just as(if not stronger) than the Speices 8427. I'd love to watch the Death Star take on a small squadren of Species 8427. The Death Star needs time to charge it's superlaser, so even if it DID destroy a single bioship, in the time it takes for the superlaser to charge again, the Death Star would have multiple hull breaches and would be rendered useless if it hand't already been destroyed.

No your right. The Death Star would definitely destroy a Borg cube . . . but then they adapt. The next Cube is impervious to the Death Star laser, and then the Empire's assimilated. Dude, resistance is futile. But think about how BAD ASS LOOKING a Darth Vader Borg would look!

HAHA! Well played sir! I do very much enjoy a Star Wars fan who is comfortable with some of the flaws (Lack of Stormtroopers aim) in Star Wars. To be fair, I'll admit that Shatner needed to stop tearing his uniform during each away mission just to make himself look more attractive to the all but over-sexed female crew. That being said, I love your work.

In a manner of speaking yes. Though the Enterprise D is a little too large for the main hanger bay of a Star Destroyer, Enterprise A, the one in the pic you linked, would fit just fine. I believe it's actually smaller than the Corellian Corvette/blockade runner Princess Leia used in the original Star Wars movie from 77.

It's and inevitable thing that happens really. It almost always devolves into a debate about how badly Star Wars vessels will blow up Star Trek ships, or something crazy like that.
As much as I like Kirk and Spock, they'd be toast going head-to-head with Vader and the Emperor. Unless they fired ships phasers and torpedoes from orbit...
Anyways I've researched both sides, and one has to keep in mind a very important point: they're both TV series. As in, not to be taken too seriously. Joss Whedon once told someone, when asked how fast the Serenity in Firefly was, that it was as fast as plot demanded.

*is big into Wars and Trek tech* Y'know, after watching all the old TOS episodes and seeing how the Empire's turbolasers work, I doubt the Enterprise's shields would hold up that well... *hrms* 'Course, the Empire would fare no better against the phasers. *chuckles* Still, it's well done.

The conclusion I've come to is that Star Wars turbolasers, while not "lasers" per se, would be more brute power, while phasers, disruptors, etc are more finese and precise. Each side has their strengths and weaknesses. Someday I'll finally write my Star Wars/Star Trek crossover story.
But that ain't today lol.

No arguments with that idea, but also think that each universe is designed for its sides' weaponry; phasers fail against shields that shunt (or try to) energy into subspace, and turbolasers fail against shields that disrupt the ACB around the blaster bolt. I'd wager that neither shield would adequately hold up to the other's weaponry (save metaphasic shielding, but we won't go there, will we?).
Good luck with your story.

If I ever get around to writing it lol. I have small peices here and there, but nothing substantial as yet.
The Trek universe is definately more scientific (overall) I think. Wars....well, they're more militeristic. Which makes sense, they have more conflict, or at least longer lasting conflicts.
Just imagine a Star Destroyer equipped with both universes gear. Trek computer systems, weapons, sensors, combines with Wars weapons, defenses, etc etc.
