THIS IS HALLOWEEEN!!!Update,
This pic has only been up for about 24 hours but I just want to say thank you to every one for the wonderful feedback. But I felt I should be fair and tell you the truth. This pic for as big as it is on screen, I drew on a 4x6 card with a ball point pen. Then just re drew the line art on my laptop. But now I feel I should re do it and go all out with the idea.

First of all, the background is very appealing. Very flashy colors! Kinda looks like he's in fire! Violent, hot colors go perfect with this.
I like how you drew Jack's face as well. He looks very determined, very much like himself! That stance makes him look like he's ready to kick the Easter Bunny's ass xD just sayin. The pumpkin armor adds a nice, fierce touch to Jack! The light shining off of the armor looks very nice too, very shiny, very cool.
The only flaw that I'm noticing is the shading behind the shield. The shading needs to be heavier on Jack's body(mostly the mid section). Since the light is shining from left to right(on the armor) whatever is behind the shield must be dark. So the shading needs a bit of work.
But anyways, this piece of work is very bad-ass, colorful, appealing to the eye. I love Halloween, and your interpretation of it with Jack is really spot on! Nice job, keep up the good work!

Ok first of all, i have to say, this is awesome! Tim burton is sooo coool, and youve added the famous "this is sparta!" to one of his beloved movies. You have kept true to the main themes of it, but added your own little details.
His teeth, i see wat youve done, but i didnt really get wat they were on first glance, wich could be a problem. I know wat yove gone with, and its really good, but i think it could use a few more alterations, like shifting a few to make it look, more like teeth.
The shine looks right, considering the colour of the weapons and armor. The placement is about right, and you have got the light source almost right, but its no big problem, because it doesnt take away that this pic is to coool!
You have got the shape of the body (for a skeleton) right. I see the effect youve done with the bones, and it works well. The face does look like the main charcters face.
The outfit is good, and works well with the theme. I really like the cape in the background, it adds a bit of creepiness to the whole thing.
The background colour have blended well to create a fire effect, while the sky is still visible.
To sum it up, its an awesome piece, great theme, youve kept true to the things youve taken the inspiration from, and it works well together! Well done!
