I wish it was technique but it's the tool. If you looked at (Gecko) my wood burning is basic so I used a laser to burn it out.

Eternal Battle was done by the laser and Gecko was done by hand. It would take me for ever to learn how to wood burn as good as you. I try to practice on the bowls or scraps that are laying around but with all my projects I don't think I'll get to your level of wood burning.
(so I use the laser when more detail is needed.)

Ah! That's how you were able to get such beautiful lines and such an even color on this one! It really is beautiful. People constantly ask me if I use a machine, or if I do my stuff by hand. I assure them it is all by hand... but I'll bet if I used a machine I'd get done in MUCH less time! LOL!
