It is intarsia. I like to use the color of the wood for many of my projects. A scroll saw and a pattern ( as well as so swearing)

i always get little bits and pieces of exotics woods. Such as ebony, and kwoa, but i also get a great deal of hard wood, such as maple, oak, walnut, and although not as hard but poplar.
Maybe we can trade knowledge, and materials?

I get lucky when the wood store has cut off of blood wood or cocbolo. I don't get ebony because it's too much here. If you need help I'll try my best. I know when I got started my type of woodworking, it's hard to find anyone who did it.
