Yes, this is an odd version of the lovely x-ladies. Just thought it would be interesting to see them all in a more reality based look. Any opinions on it?

I find it interesting how people perceive realistic physique's as something that is average or easily attainable. The "average," women isn't morbidly obese or over-weight, nor does she have a sculpted abdominals and breasts disproportionately large. In reality, it is possibe to attain an idealistic physique through commitment and discipline. So it isn't that the women are completely unrealistic in portrayal, it is just that they are not average and that it is much more difficult to be fit than to be over-weight.
Nonetheless, interesting take on the X-Women.

Although I disagree that all the X-Women would be chubby, I like the way storm looks like that. Like she could fry you with lightning and then kick your ass with a killer backhand.

I can ALWAYS appreciate art that has larger women in it. I'm not a stick figure that's for sure, I got curves.... I don't look like a model or whatever... I've had kids!

hahahaha... well i think storm would get like that i mean... come on wind blows her around every where girl needs to walk more son! and jean grey!!! I mean she's probably all like mind floating everywhere!! i doubt she goes running!! I mean yeah she dies every 20 issues and that's got to burn some callories.... but come on now!!!

Interesting concept. I think the only fat mutant is Blob. Realistcally, I think a lot of the X-Women would be all different body types. Not everyone is a starving model. :rolleyes:
