Deisy is a lovely lady and this is an exceptional portrait.Β I love how the gentle oblique light cascades across her front from the far side, emphasizing the form and depth of her features.Β That she is facing the light instead of the camera emphasizes that effect and creates a beautiful profile.Β All this beauty almost makes me forget to ask why she is sitting on the pool table in the first place.

Haha, because that's where the light was best!

'The amateur cares only for equipment, the professional cares only for getting paid, but the craftsman cares only for the light.' -- somebody pretty observant.

Ditto.Β I love it when oblique lighting across the front of a model emphasizes the depth of her features.
