Description Finally…my first wallpaper!

It was made with Terragen…awesome software for creating sceneries. A little bit of post-processing went into it. The original image is over here : [link] .

I would like to extend a big thanks to `velociraptor for the wickedly awesome ‘Thaw’ atmospheric file!I must also thank all the people at Ashunder who gave initial comments on this render and for their suggestions and tips.

Unfortunately my PC crashed thrice while trying to re-render this piece so I just left it as it was

Yay! I love Terragan!! ^_^

I think the light on the water over on the right was appropiately placed, but I think the shadow from the mountains would cover most of the cape. Right now it looks a bit like the light's coming from directly above. The mountains themselves look very convinicing, and the light overall is very warm; it could be afternoon or morning. I like it! Very well done.
