Here is Marvel Comics Captain America! I planned to do full color redering on this piece but really liked how it looked as flats so I left it.Related content

I don't understand why a swastika is on Cap, if anything, it would be more relevant with Thor as the swastika was a symbol used in Norse mythology. So yeah, explain please?

The intent is ambiguous. This still seems terribly wrong. I much prefer seeing Cap defy the Nazis not be wreathed in a Swastika which I am very familiar with it's history especially with my time Spent amongst Tibetans. I can't say I like this though. It put's my hero in a bad light. Just something to think about.

Research, foolish, narrow-minded, super-patriot, loud and annoying scum children of the more-then-likely-American internet. Research.
My my, one would think that one would not be so lazy that they would not try to at least research the true meaning of the swastika prior to Nazi Germany's assimilation of the symbol. They had borrowed it, not stolen it. But one could say that they had stolen the swastika, staining it in such a way.
But apparently not.
Instead, whenever they see a swastika, (noticing no difference between left and right facing swastika. Only that is a swastika, regardless) they grossly squeal, "Fuckin' Nazi! S/He's a fuckin' Nazi!" simply because some deluded fool with power decided to employ it as a symbol of their goal. Verbally whipping one simply because they had decided to intergrate it into their wear or project for its original value, not because the wearer believes in the Nazi ideals.
I say this because the swastika Captain America stands in is not at an forty five degree angle. Thus, not a true Nazi's swastika. But when looking at the coloration and mood of this piece, it would seem very likely that is what Realmofdeadsouls was aiming for.
But, I will now discontinue with my very likely redundant rant that is simply pissing off one who is reading this with their very likely fermented, and prune-dry brains. Mind.
If the reader (that is, unless Realmofdeadsouls does not hide this post, which I would not blame him if he decides to) of this comment decides to discus or flame me about my opinion of this matter (and yes, I do think that I am considerable enough to even appear on your radar, 'cause I'm funny like that), or simply say "fuckin' pro-Nazi bigot" please note me instead of replying to this post.
And on the last note... no, I am not pro nor Neo-Nazi. But I do think that Adolf Hitler was a great, powerful speaker despite his goals and craven suicide.

Captain America became popular back in WWII for fighting Nazis in his comic book; hence, this symbol is most likely a referance to the Nazi Party. I will not assume what the artist's intentions were in incorporating it, good or bad, but it is plainly obvious that this is not an ancient Christian symbol, nor the original "manji". It is the Nazi Swastika, however a variant of it.

I meant in terms of by the "Allies" and other countries in the aftermath.
Especially since Jews have been enemies for many thousands of years, compared to the small, though extreme times of Nazi Germany.
The Jewish community have actually gained a lot post WWII.

The Swastika's lines are somewhat inaccurate, but other than that, it's a cool pic.
I seriously think Captain America should become a movie.....although, since patriotism is overrated anymore, people will flip out. Hollywood would probably disagree with such a movie too.
