After rushing though the castle to reach the front gate, Mario, Bowser and the others arrive to see Bowser's fleet of flying ships launching cannon balls and Bullet Bills with Bowsette at the helm of the flagship. "Looks like Bowsette pulled out all the stops for her attack" Toadsworth says. Bowser roars "Hey, stache-for-brains, you could have told us she was going to attack soon so we wouldn't be caught with our pants down". Mario replies "I didn't know, she must have moved up her plans when she realized I knew about it". Toadsworth asks "So what's the plan, Master Mario?". Mario take a moment to think before Bowser chimes in "I say we stick with our original plan, we take the clown car straight to Bowsette so we can teach her a lesson". "I suppose it-a good a plan as any" Mario says before turning to Princess Peach, "You and Toadsworth get everyone else out off the castle to safety and be careful". Peach nods then darts off with Toadsworth. Bowser turns to Jr. and says "Go with them, son". "No Dad, I wanna go with you to beat the mean lady". Bowser replies "Trust me kiddo, your not ready for something like this. Beside, you'd help them more that you would me right now". "You sure, Dad?" Jr. asks. "Of course" Bowser answers, "Peach is tough, but not that tough, and Toadsworth is well, Toadsworth. You help them out, ok". Jr. reluctantly agrees and rush to catch up with Peach and Toadsworth. Mario and Bowser turn to each other before Mario says "I left the car over here, let's go". After managing to dodge cannonballs after cannonballs to get to the clown car, Mario and Bowser take off towards Bowsette. Eventually they reached the flagship, prepared to fight. Bowsette stand near the helm with overwhelming confidences, looking down by at Mario and Bowser on the deck. "Welcome "gentlemen", to the VIP lounge of my party" Bowsette says mockingly, "but I don't recall putting you two on the guest list". Bowser can't help but to burst out, "We're crashing your party, ya freak". "We?" Bowsette says surprised, "You're actually going to work together". Mario says "We both have a reason to stop you, that's enough for us". As she walks down from the stairs from the helm, Bowsette just laughs and says "Reason or not, you two can't stop me". "Oh yeah!" Bowser roars, "well what if we had one of these". Bowser gestures to Mario who pull out the control from his pocket. "What!?" Bowsette says shocked, "How'd you get that". Bowser smugly says "Guess we're more resourceful than you thought". Bowsette, angered, says "Don't you even think about pushing that button". Bowser smirks and says " All I hear was push that button, go for it, shorty!". Mario doesn't hesitate and pushes the button. A couple seconds later, Bowsette grab the back of her neck and look to be in pain. After awhile, she begin to scream in agony. "Alright, here's our chance," Bowser yells, "let's get her". "Wait," Mario replies, "Something's not right". "AhhhhhhahhahahahaHAHAHAHA", Bowsette begins laughing maniacally. Bowser can't help but scratch his head in confusion with Mario just as bewildered . After awhile, Bowsette stops laughing and lets Mario and Bowser in on the joke. "Sorry to spoil your plan boys," she says as smug as ever, "but if that was your only hope to stop me, you better come up with a Plan B fast". Bowser in utter confusion says "But that was suppose to stun you, shock you, leave you ready for a smack down. How'd you-Mario, push another button, quick". Mario push every other button on the controller multiple time, but nothing happens. Bowette start laughing maniacally again before she says "You can push all those buttons a million times, nothings going to happen". "But how?" Mario asks perplexes. Bowsette just snickers a little before she says "What? You think I didn't know about the old man's "fail-safe" to keep me under his thumb. Why do you think I needed to wait for him to get close so I could put him out of my misery". Bowser retorts "But our own old frat built our controller to the letter so why?". "Duh! I had the thing removed" Bowsette replies, "I found a nice doctor who was more than happy to remove it for free. Well, he was happy to do it for "Princess Peach" that is". Mario asks "How could he think you were Princess Peach?". Bowser chimes in "Yeah, you may look like her but the horns and tail are kinda of a dead giveaway that your not Peach". Bowsette replies "A little spell took care of those for awhile. Unfortunately, it meant I had to wear a *blech* pink dress to complete the look". Bowser starts stomping the deck in frustration before saying "What a waste of time, we should have just attacked her at my castle from the start". "Calm down Bowser" Mario says, "we'll just have to beat her now". Bowsette smiles a crooked smirk before saying "You think it's gonna be that simple, don't ya". She then gestures to Bowser and says "Ask him how simple beating me is going to be. How's the chin by the way, Pops?". Bowser rubs his chin, remembering the blow he took before. Bowser then says "You may have gone one-on-one with each of us and won, but two-on-one, you don't stand a chance". Bowsette just smiles and says "You think so". Suddenly, flame begin to enveloped her. Bowser remembers what happen at his castle before. "Get ready" he yells to Mario. Just like before, the flames turned green and begin to swirl around her. After a few moments, the flames dissipate and Bowser and Mario are surprised at what they see when the flames are gone. Bowsette' fair white skin is replaced with tan brown, her blonde hair was now a firey red like Bowser's and her blue eyes were now just as red as her hair. "What just happened!?" Mario and Bowser exclaimed. "Like my new look, I only ever show it off when I fell like getting serious," Bowette boosts before saying "and I seriously want to tear you two apart." Sweat begins to roll Mario's face, trying to come up a plan as Bowser try to keep himself from jumping in recklessly out of frustration. Eventually, Bowsette chimes in "If you two don't wanna make the first move, I will." Green flames bursts from her feet, propelling her forward at high speed. Mario and Bowser brace themselves for the tough battle ahead.
