Description Is he evil? Is he full of anger?

What is he really feeling? What is reflected in his expression...?

How does the color red effect your perception of this painting?

Wow excellent piece! I especially love that you allowed the brushstrokes and marks to express the emotion as well as the color. They feel frenzied and impulsive which gives him a hint of danger. To me, it feels as if you've captured him in the moment right before he becomes enormously angry; almost as if the storm is about the break. Excellent, excellent job, I really love it!

Stunning... I'm no big fan of red colour in general but in certain places it works and here it's spot on. To me this refelects sadness... the pain of sadness, loneliness, something like that. The eye doesn't look evil, nor angry but the colour is perfect hint about how sadness can turn to bitterness, anger, even hate... I'd love to be able to create anything half as powerful as this. Must this so that I can return to stare at this sometimes again...

I like this one the best. You are very talented indeed missy! What on earth drives a person to have such an eye for detail? I have always been a fan of detail. Enviously I must admit detail is something I lack in my works... Bah. Thank You for sharing your work!

I see a jealous lover or a passionate lover. Either way you slice it, love is in the air.

The so life-like eye is the focal point for me. Coupled with the strong masculine features this portrays a determined but haunted face with the red blurriness.

He reminds me of those tragic heros who have a past that drives them in whatever their quest is.

A most powerful painting. Brilliant work Rebekahlynn

The moment I saw this picture I thought, "The Count of Monte Cristo". Its a very good piece of artwork, and the emotion that it relayed to me was unjust accusations, and a bit of a blood lust to find the bastard and kick him in the teeth (pardon my language there!) Very great, I love the blue eye! And I think the color red makes everyone think of anger. Had you painted the picture green, for example, I may have interpreted his emotion as jealousy. Who knows? Great picture.

Very intense... I love the use of blue for the eye color it anchors the piece well and I feel a bit of calm there. Maybe this is why I feel it's a patient anger.. unjustly accused? or maybe just waiting to take back a portion for a love that was taken away. I'd love to see the detail of the eye.. I'm wondering if it has a reflection in it.. your coment is great and has me going !!!!

I think he looks sad. And that sadness has become anger.
Interesting how you used the color red...really makes the viewer check it out...try to figure out how he really feels.

For me the red is passion and determination, and the eye presents calm, and concentration, balancing it out
