It reminds me of a conversation there was in my classroom about euthanasia. A woman said she was againts it. I don't remember the reasons why but she said it had something to do with transcendence, that it was human nature to change and evolve.

Having looked at the previous one, I can definitely say this is an improvement. Facing the light source, she seems to be moving toward some sort of enlightenment. The leaves provide an element of nature in an otherwise unnatural environment (a city), and also give it a shamanistic or primal feeling, a return to nature from the empty, cold halls of civilization.
She seems to be totally in charge of her surroundings and her destiny, but at the same time is called forth by some greater power, and gives the impression of being willingly led. The buildings are definitely hers and hers alone; possibly there has never been anyone else here, this is her sanctuary. The movement of her dress and the similarity in color between it and the buildings suggests, in my mind, that the buildings are somehow a part or extension of herself. The building with the spire seems significant, but not in any particular or obvious way; it serves more to distract from the woman or draw attention to her environment than to impart any message or meaning. I'm not sure it needs to be so prominent.
I love this piece. It seems so simple, but at the same time it is incredibly rich with symbology. Very nice work.

I know this picture is older, but maybe you're still interested in info?
I love the green tones. I am very partial to green, and the hue that you used is just spectacular. When in full-view, it looks to me like she's bringing the breath of life to a cold, hard world. Like the forest will follow in her footsteps and bring that world back to life. But the orange of the leaves might not help so much with that?
I don't know that anything specifically needs to be fixed. The biggest suggestion I have is that from the thumbnail, all you see is a pretty lady and swirling green. Whatever route you take with this picture, I would suggest to make it more pronounced from the thumbnail.
But that's just my opinion and my impression. It really is a lovely piece and I love the soft texture of her gown. I actually love how you superimposed her again, is such a misty form. The piece is really very well done.

I really love this one! I see a spirit being who is visible in the corridor but the real her being invisible still behind the wall as all spirits usually are (invisible that is) - in other words, she projects herself through into real time and into a real building, where she perhaps regularly visits; maybe where she once lived her earthly life.

Thank you! It was an absolute pain to do, for whatever reason. I tried doing this composition over and over before I found something that flowed decently....

I think the leaves are a little distracting, and donβt fit the theme, but Iβm glad to see that you elevated the building above her; so that her pose can be better seen in relation to the building.
This, in turn, brings her superimposed spirit in to scale, then from a certain moral perspective, her body can be seen in direct relationship with the βbodyβ of the building; and her spirit, as the essential spirit, that is required, not only for building a spire above, even the light rays from the heavens, but also, the essential spirit required to maintain such a monument to human achievement on earth.
Unfortunately, her rapture has softened to repose, and she almost looks as if sheβs taking a long moment of silence, in reverence to a soon to be fallen city; as if sheβs preparing to abandon her great monuments to human achievement, taking with her, the last great spirit, which gave them their meaning.
βShe felt the whole struggle of her past rising before her and dropping away, leaving her here, on the height of this moment. She smiledβand the words in her mind, appraising and stealing the past, were the words of courage, pride and dedication, which most men had never understood, the words of a business manβs language: β Price no object.β β¦βItβs the end,β she said. βItβs the beginning,β he answered.

Beautiful flow and feel to this pic. I love the contrast of the tall buildings and the air of her dress that just sweep to make the piece feel bigger.

really quite exceptional. i like the light airy feel and sense motion. it strikes me as an abandonment, not the careless self destructive letting go of, but the uplifting release toward. as though she has abandoned all that was holding her and accepted her true grace....
but i ramble... that that is what art is supposed to do, is it not.

Something about the leaves I don't like; They are great and all, I just don't quite think they fit with the picture and the overall emotion you are going for. I don't know what could go in their place, but I'm just not sure about them. Otherwise awesome picture!

I don't know why, maybe because I'm watching a documentary on Flight 93: The Flight that fought back, who knows, but this makes me think of 9/11. The spirit of it is still there amoung us, touching us. Stupid I know. lol ^^ Either way I really like it. The colores are beautiful and the woman is and everything. Kudos.

errr....you're not gonna like this, but it gives me an urge to go and eat so i don't end up like her. she's on the borderline of painful anorexia.
her left foot looks a lil.....elf-slipper-ish (....i know...me and my words...) but i think that's more a play on lights and would look like that in real life anywayz.
the building perspectives and the colors and the whole background effect ROCKS. i love how she seems almost an afterthought, just a passing wanderer amidst a masterpiece of design. and yet she does not seem to mind. gotta love that attitude ^^

I absolutely love this piece, it's very beautiful. My one suggestion would be to give her the tiny impression of a smile, a itty little lift at the corners of her mouth. Of course, that might no t be the the feeling you were going for with this piece. Either way, gorgeous pic, great work.
