I really like how you've captured the face, fur, and expression of this fox in such precise focus.

Often, photographs have just a bit of blur or overly grainy detail. This looks just like any sight one would expect to see in real life- with details all over the picture coming out at a recognizable resolution. I just get the sense that this is more like one of those household, precise focus pictures instead of those long-distance lens shots from a photographer located far away from the fox. It certainly gives a lot more depth to this portrait.

You're right, it isn't a long distance lens shot. Parc Omega is unique in that the animals are 'semi' wild (I think this fox is a rescue/rehabilitated animal), and have lost their fear of humans. They're unfazed by photographers peering at them.
