I started with parameters from Schmiegel 's fractal and tweaked the livin' daylights out of them! This is the result using just one formula, JosKn-KleinIFS. I used a map by CmdrChaos for the diffuse colors in this fractal. The title, Icy Blue, was suggested by Tony Maiorano.

This feature was meant to be posted last month but I've had so much going on I had to put it aside temporarily. The good thing about it is that there have been some wonderful wintry works of art posted in the last couple weeks, so I'm glad to include them. I know many of you are tired of winter, but winter has beauty all it's own that I wanted to celebrate before spring is full on. I also wanted to consider my friends in the Southern Hemisphere who are heading towards winter in a couple months. I hope you enjoy my tribute to winter and wintry feeling art.
