Great quote! I like what you did with the background, thought it was an image first, but (I guess) it's part of the shapes. Works really well, and gives it a sort of "interplanetary" feeling. Lovely work

Yes, the background is a faded shape, like the black shape, but larger. The color map (which looked like a photo of an orange sky and black trees in the distance) gave that large shape two colors, making it a bit surreal while looming in the background. If you look closely, you can see the trees. They are that jagged edge on the large form. (The map is turned on its side.) My first thought was that this had an interplanetary feeling too.
