Just a warm up picture I did in only 5 hours or something... o_0 I have used reference from a photo from tumblr and also read a very good book about light and colours

I love this I love this I *LOVE* THIS!!! Not only is there a secret night fury all up in here but ugh THIS IS SO GORGEOUS!!! I LOVE all the insane colors you snuck into this! I also love that gorgeous aurora WOW. It's so swirly and natural-looking and has seriously the NICEST painterly feel to it! And then the light bounces onto the rocks and the water below and there's so much blue and pink and green and AHHHH! This is amazing! I love your art so much omg!

It's simply beautiful !! I like it even more because I had something similar in mind when I wrote some lines in the 2nd chapter of my HTTYD story "Silverwings and Toothless". My nest is in a small cave at the foot of the hills. In front of it lies a vast expanse of taiga... I like it here, having the wide world at my feet and the vastness of the sky overhead, where at times beautiful lights simmer and dance against the backdrop of the stars. Then I fly up to hunt these lights, only to end up dancing along...
