My friend recently lent me some of her Naruto books to read, and I still haven't given them back, I've got so hooked on the manga. This was drawn before the chapter where Itachi actually used his (rather awesome) 'final jutsu' thing, so it's sort of out of date but meh.

Not sure if I'm going to draw any more Naruto fanart, so I'm going to use this opportunity to give my two cents on the series so far. The cartoon above wasn't really that spoiler-worthy (since it's sort of obvious after a while that they're going to have another fight sooner or later), but the following definitely will be, so SPOILER ALERT!!!

The reason I liked this manga so much at the beginning was because I loved all the team dynamics stuff with Team 7. Sasuke began as my favourite character, but after he first fought Itachi he just went completely weird, and after he left the manga wasn't really as good as it was any more. The chapter with the rain (233?) was almost heartbreaking. I don't like stony, 'all my life is about is revenge' Sasuke- I wish the one that showed little signs of caring about Naruto and Sakura would come back.

However the fight that's going on at the moment is pretty exciting, even if Sasuke in Curse Seal Stage 2 keeps reminding me of El Goonish Shive
