More alt history for a future american revolutionDuring the revolution some of the American religious feared this revolution would bring harm against believers. But the coalition of rebels had no intent in mind, so in order to re-assure none of that would happen, "Christian Socialists of America" was founded.
Meant as a big tent organization for christians of all kind to talk and associate. One thing which it wasn't allowed to do was influence the law to their betterment above others.
At it's founding it had around 25 thousand members, and after the revolution it had expanded to over 63 million.
Besides the specific sections of christianity. It's ideologies are.
-Christianity
-Big Tent
-Socialism
The flags colors represent-
Red- Socialism and the blood of christ.
White- Purity, peace, pacifism.
The Cross- The ideas of Jesus Christ.

Christian communism doesn't work at all. (And neither does being a socialist without also being a communist.) You can root your morality in loving your neighbor or you can root it in creating a socialist society. You can't do both because the latter cannot be done peacefully.

(First off not ever socialist is a communist, but every communist is a socialist. This goes to show you have no idea how these ideas work)

Like spreading Christianity was peaceful, no ideology gains actual power without some violence involved. (Or at least the threat of violence.)

Because religious institutions usually held ties with counterrevolutionary and anti-communist forces, but that's not a rule; when my country was under a pro-West dictatorship, some prists supported the oppositors(mostly communists) and even armed themselves.
