I miss the old days...Remember when everyone used to be happy with their art and when they didn't care what anyone else thought of what they drew? When everyone was still here on DA and no one [well, almost no one] used to fight?
Yeah. Those old days.
This picture just reminded me of that... I wanted to go back and do some 'old skool' borders and grungey effects. Harlequin just seems to have something about her that reminds me of old memories and reaching out to the future.
Came the night a mist dissolved the trees
And in the broken light colours fly, fading by
Pale and cold as figures fill the glade
Grey is the web they spin, on and on, and on and on
Through the flame still summer lingers on
Though her pictures soon shatter.
A picture with meaning! At last. I hope this means I'm getting out of my art slump.
This also looks nicer in real life, and it's been a while since I said that.
I'm off to bed. Too many thoughts!

I must agree, there seems to have been a lot of conflict going on around DA since I joined, and perhaps even before. However, it seems this incline of conflict is being felt outside of DA as well, and one must wonder if it is something only confined to the art community, or the world... Nonetheless, many people still hold onto hope and this pciture is a wonderful reminder of that hope and good, heart-felt kindness that still lingers in the air... Wonderful picture, I love it.

It really does seem to be an art world thing nowadays... I see it on SheezyArt and other places too. It's sad! Art is to be enjoyed, not to be fought over.

Now a days - I admit - devART rots my mind cause I'm always so worried about what people will think about my art. I hate it. arghh. Remember the old days for me when I was on ~ruby69 ? It was because of some pathetic fight about spiked tail rings that someone brought up, whom still hates me for some reason, that lured in the hacker to my account. It was great to have a new start, but still. and I drew constantly and didn't give a shit about anyone's (bad) opinions. I miss it quite a bit actually.....atleast I know I'm not the only one. *hugs*

Oh yes. How I miss the old days. now today is just.. filled with so much art theift and everyone leaving. and coming back. the same shit over and over. I do miss the old days. Very much so.
I love Harlie! Havent seen her for awhile :3 Maybe you should just start drawing for yourself. draw something that means something to YOU. you know? Something kinda personal in a way <3 or draw something for a loved one. It usually helps <3

Ah, yes, I remember those days. Now theres all this fighting and account hacking etc. going on and everyone's leaving or not posting as much art anymore *shakes head* This is awesome though ^^ I like the grungy effects you used
