My last-minute entry for the Turn Back Time Mini-Event being held by . Featuring RBS Raining on Sunday as a little filly.

Sunday and her mother, Tala, were rescued from a neglectful owner just before Sunday was actually born. The filly grew up on the rescue farm with her mother, until she was adopted at four years old.

Tala, like many rescued animals, seemed to completely understand what she and her foal had been rescued from, and was in a constant state of contentment and gratitude. Not once did she kick, bite, or rear, even if her handler was clumsy or inexperienced. She was rarely afraid, and curious about everything and anyone new. She also had an excellent memory- visit the farm once and give her a sugar cube, and she'd follow you like a puppy when you returned three months later with new clothes and a haircut.

And I'm trying to resist somehow finangleing Tala into my current HARPG stable. She's just so cute.

The scanner kind of killed the colors, but Tala's halter was supposed to be deep purple. And she's supposed to be dappled...but the scanner kinda washed that out too.
