I suffer from insomnia and every night I take a sleeping pill to sleep. I take it more often then I should because one of the medicines I take causes restlessness and I get that way every night. Basically one pill = no more consciousness.Related content

ah... I am on trazadone as well. I don't take it as much as I should because I'm scared of eventually needing it to sleep. Even though it takes me hours to get to sleep when I don't take it.

wen i first had to take it i actually spent like 3 hours deciding whether i'm ready or not
it was soooo paranoi-ing cuz i thought i'd end up sleeping through the next day as well as night.

But yeah when I first took it I was kinda hoping to sleep through the day too xD Sad to say it wasn't so lol.

Maybe they will...I am waiting for a vacancy in the mental health center, I'll see if the doctor (if they hired one) prescribes something that works and doesn't give me bad side effects, at least not too many

I don't have insurance, so I haven't been tested for insomnia. All I know is that I can't sleep without taking some form of sleeping pill, and a lot of it. It's really frustrating. >.<

Eek I know the feeling of not being able to sleep without pills... I have to double up on my sleep medication because I've become tolerant of it D:

Sometimes I have to double up on my sleeping pills in order to get the same effect; which I hate doing. And I'm on trazodone for sleep. What are you on?

I'm on zolpidem for sleep. I recently had one of my medications switched, and it has sedation as a side effect, so I haven't actually been taking my sleepers. I only take them if I really need them.

i havent been tested for insomnia but i literally can't get to sleep without taking a pill.
I hate it but i can't cope without it.
