i love how, whether we admit it or not, we as people are attracted to thinner bodies. i mean, without seeing a face, or connecting with a personality, just from seeing bodies like this, we judge which pictures we like, as said in a comment ('the three blue ones'. Idk, just a thought.

just if you can... could you make this a wallpaper? a 1440 x 900 wallpaper. I just love plain, and yet colorfull that this piece is.

i like how the overall colour of each picture are a different shade and i like even more that they are just average looking people from the back. However it seems like they could all have very interesting stories behind them

i think the idea, that you can fill in "yourself" in the last two blank spaces (which is grea btw) would be even better, if there where two polaroids with just a white wall, like the models have one in front of them.
not, that its not great this way, it would just be easier "to feel", at least to me. ; )

i think it's quite cool actually! but the thing with the blank spaces messes it up
people say it's cool to "fill them in with your own mind" but to me it makes it seem like the picture has an imperfectry

SOLARTS [2008-08-13 23:39:49 +0000 UTC]

this is really nice - I agree with Tangerine Tickle - it makes me think of the different body types in the world and that we shouldn't be ashamed of our differences...

I also like the way that there are two blank spaces on the page which allow me, as the audience, to fill them in... to place my own body in the image and to imagine the multitude of others which are not represented here. This "unfinishedness" which allows for the audience to include themselves in the work, to "become" a part of it, and to see the work in a state of constant becoming (rather than being finished) is called "wabi-sabi" in Japanese (often manifesting itself in blank spaces in drawings and paintings where the canvass/paper shows through, and the ink-splash) and is one of my favourite artistic concepts.

wonderful stuff!!

Have a great day,
The Team at Solar

bodies are really oddly shaped, and i like that you used those instead of "ideal" bodies that lack cute lower-back dimples and sharp shoulder blades.
