Li grew up in a country-side village with their childhood friend, Curtis. Everyday they fought to see who was stronger which usually resulted in Curtis losing. They were virtually inseperable. At the age of 9, Curtis left the village to live in the city and the two never saw each other again. [time skip] Now years later with the gangs recruiting members, Li has decided to join, not only to become stronger, but also because there are rumors floating about that someone matching Curtis's description might be joining as well. It's a great chance to gain some more fighting experience and get a rematch with an old friend.
