Just a couple of weeks ago in an evening, I was going through episodes of sopranos to capture good angles of Tony as reference. If at that moment the angel of death were to prophet the message that James would only have weeks to live, how special these few weeks would have been.

James was a humble actor, almost a little shy, not one that thoroughly enjoy the stardom like others. But among many, he is one of the most talented and most dedicated. A method actor with subtly and depth. His character Tony carried complexity and conflict way beyond the imagination of the majority of Hollywood writers, something we can see in real life matters. it was pure art to watch him vanish into the character.

When hearing the news this morning about his passing, I couldn't help but to imagine a scenario, where Tony sit in that patient chair breathing heavily without a word, Dr. Melfi starred back not showing a trace of her own emotion. The diamond shaped sun light filtered through the window tilted from one person's feet to the other pair. In the end, All she had to say was, you will die next month, in Rome, during a holiday, use your time well.
