Description This is the sixth image in the 'A Timeless Scene' series and shows a C17 class locomotive (No.720) rolling out of the shed into the morning light. Just behind the C17, a silhouette of another steam locomotive can be seen. This is a PB15 class 4-6-0 (this one is No.738)

C17s an the smaller PB15s made up the majority of Branch line rosters towards the end of the steam era due to their low axleload.

*This shot was taken on the Rosewood Railway and would be one of the few to show both the newly restored C17 No.720 and currently out-of-service PB15 No.738 (the museums original steam locomotive)

I apologize for the quality of this image, it was cropped from a larger shot and as such there was little I could do about the quality.

Grainy, and ever so slightly off square, but I really like the composition of elements in it.

I think Iγ€€like this one the most. It looks like it could have been taken back in the day.

yeah, his name is Greg and he is a volunteer at the museum and I have seen him working on the exibits, working on the locomotive in the workshop and even driving No.720 at times.
