Hi. Thanks so much. It's basically a black pleather, with some metal wire and sheet cut to shape for some of the details.

I don't have any patterns. The thing to do is look at photos clearly showing Xena's outfit from different angles and copy from that. Hardware stores usually have different types of metal wire and sheet, or sometimes craft stores will. Look for metal that isn't too hard to bend or cut but still stiff enough to hold its shape.

Thank you! Xena was a good show, and Lucy Lawless really made her come to life. It was a lot of fun making this costume, and my daughter had a good time wearing it at Comicon.

Wow, thank you. Yes, Xena's basic costume evolved over the first season, and she actually wore a lot of different really cool costumes throughout the series.
Thanks for the compliment for my sculptures also. They take a lot longer. Unlike costumes, if you make a mistake, or drop them on the floor... so I go slowly with them.
