I forgot to mention it before. The color burn layer is the 5th layer option in photoshop, its right under the multiply layer option. U can try it with every color that u want, but if u use dark color it wont look good, and using bright orange is simply the nicest choise...trust me!
Why is an auxiliar lines makes ur drawing looks dirty? Are u using it too much, or u didnt use a soft lines on it?

I use a lot of them. they use to be soft but with enought quantity they really start being anoying...
I started drawing with strong lines XD but over the years I learned that soft lines are better ^^. The problem is that I make way too much...

w00t. did you mention me there? ^^ I am happy although the comment makes me almost to be the nemesis xD. actually I that time I wondered how you manage to draw as clean with 2b. I still have to try it yet though. when sketching I make soft lines and still they start being dirty before the real drawing starts O.o maybe is just my bad habbits xP
but I would really love to check how you really draw in real life, it should be pretty interesting. dont seem you use auxiliar lines (or whatever is the name in english... you say your english suck? then check mine, that is worst XD) and still your pics are pretty equilibrated.
anyway, I still trying to make something similar of your burn layer. as my photoshop is in spanish I cant tell what is the real name here, and anyway I think by the moment it cant be applied to my way of drawing (the color pattern way to make sketchs that I used in my last pics are a similar style but somehow It dont really look as I want. I must search where is the real problem... although adding invisible watermark dont help it anyway - if you are wondering what it is, I suggest to go to one of my pic with internet explorer and go to edit->select all)

well about proportions, I didnt see something really wrong in that, so I assume your intuition about that is very acurate (woaaah! I want to learn to have intuitioooon >_< xD).
About my watermark... well as you know, a semitransparent mark that used to be in the middle of an image just to show who is the owner - to evoid image-thieves. With the time I learned a way to make an invisible watermark - that is, a message hidden in an image in a way that normally cant be seen, you have to do something in order to make it visible. All my latest works have one of those, in order to see it you have to open an image with internet explorer (it doesnt work with firefox or others), keep it in it real sice and to select all of it. when you do that, explorer makes blue only certain pixels of the image to show it was selected... and leaving visble only the rest of them. The watermark is hidden in those pixels that can be seen in that particular ocasion
in other words. if you make a selection of one of my works in their original size with internet explorer, you will be able to see the words "made in ancode". if I get someone stealing my art, I will get a lot of laught XD

Yup, i dont use that line. Well, actually its more like, i dont know how to use that line or anything about it. I draw whatever my hand leads me, as u can see in my mermaid drawing, thats my real sketch, i dont use the auxiliar lines or other lines that i should be using to make a good proportion. That's why my proportion is always weird, i only imagining things...><
I dont understand about the invisible watermark that u're talking...???
