O It's like a sentinel/familiar-like object, they generally behave on their own (like a quidditch) and have different appearances but their main purposes are normally to perform small , and various types of assistance (like basic healing/mending or enhancement buffs)

Most of them can have one! but if they don't, it's usually because of normal circumstances (ex:chooses not to have one, still looking for one, etc )
