Yes, this is my opinion. No, I'm not forcing you to agree with it. Some people, in fact, have very legitimate reasons for having more than one. You're free to comment with your own opinion. But please keep in mind that comments among the lines of "omg u suk" and "lololol u fag i can have as many accounts as i want" will not be responded to and will instead be blatantly laughed at for your inability to read the artist's comments and/or ridiculousness of your spelling/grammar.QUESTION:
WHY?
"I want to keep my fanart separate from my original works."
That's what the folders are for.
"I don't like my old art style and want to try something new."
Scrap the old stuff and start putting your new stuff up in your actual gallery. And if you absolutely hate it, clear them out completely. IT'S NOT THAT HARD.

I have only one that I use, but it's my second account all together. Suffice it to say, I did some bad things, and when I turned over a new leaf, I decided to start over completely.

plz accounts don't count, because nothing actually happens on those- they're for dA use in messages and such. I need to update the artist's comments...

Well...I do have a second account. dinogrrl was the first account I had here, waaaay back in the day. Then I left dA for some years, forgot my password, requested it, realized I had signed up using my school email, which had been deactivated...so yeah. I gave up trying to resurrect that account. There's nothing in there anyway, so it doesn't matter 
But yeah. There are some people I watch who've had multiple accounts since before folders were introduced. I'm okay with having to watch two accounts for one person--it makes me doubly happy when it's easy for me to see that the two accounts are indeed the same artist (same icon, title, whatever).
I'm not okay with account name ADD though, when people up and change account names for no apparent reason. Multiple times. I stopped watching some people because I got tired of trying to keep up with their latest name jump >>.

Well. I have... Maybe even 100 accounts, I don't know. But I have a legitimate reason- they're all plz accounts 8D Or most of them are, anyways. The few that aren't plz accounts are RP accounts. And I have a sketch account because I felt bad spamming my main page with doodles, so I am spamming that page with doodles instead :I

Plz accounts are entirely different- you don't actually do anything with them activity-wise. I should've specified that in the artist's comment.
As for sketches- that's what the scrapbook is for.

I could go into so much nitpicky detail about all the reasons why I made a new account. But I don't think this is the place to rant about it lol. If you really want to know then I could just note you. :U

Or better yet, clean out their current one and remake it how you want it rather than being lazy and just making a new one. Saves server space on dA, and less work for the people that watch them.
