I absolutely adore this piece, so alien and familiar at the same time. I love the use of shadow and light (as well as the minimal use of color ) that develops the story of the capture. I am reminded of Georges Méliès' "Voyage dans la Lune," though I do not believe that is deliberate nor detracting from the impact of the work. Romantic, sad, otherworldly & rightly named "Moon Spell" evoking nostalgia & longing. I desire to know their story, if not be apart of it. Subtle, delicate, powerful and strong; Exceedingly fantabolous, thank you for sharing this dynamic and wonderful piece.
