The first time I ever saw shiny Ho-Oh... I remember it was love at the first sight. Though back then I'd barely imagine I could really get it *w*I started soft-resetting two weeks ago and I kept doing it whenever there was something else I could focus on (I'd go mad if I had to watch it over and over again xD). So mostly at school, yeah xD
Listening and writing notes... + soft-resetting. Nice and easy... and extremly tiring XDI even started watching Pokemon Advanced Generation show just to have something to watch while my fingers kept resetting xD
And yesterday... for four times I had a feeling "It could come today..." And it really came! ^^ I was planning to name it after that baby Ho-Oh hatchling I made so here she goes... my beloved Hoohla ♥
So... lectured by the japanese Advanced Generation episodes....

I... Was shuffling through your gallery and came across this again. What I would love is a shiny Umbreon atm, but... That would involve hatching a shiny Eevee... Or running around like a chicken with it's head cut off in trophy garden in DPPT For, like, three days a month hoping I get lucky... I don't think I could manage. And my mom took my DS '~'

Well, there is one other way. Eevee is one of those Pokemon you can get via soft-resetting

Well, you can get Eevee in every game except R/S/E as a gift from someone, can't you? So save your position before obtaining it and softreset

Aha, it's this game where you run a farm. The animals are ADORABLE. Only B is use tool and not run, and I always press that by accident... and I've hit my puppy a few times...

No, ja Emeralda (shiny Tentacool) chytila normalne - ale Shiny Ho-Oh je muj nejoblibenejsi shiny ever a jeste je to legenda, tam jsem proste sla do toho, ze nebudu pokouset stesti a jakmile se objevi, pujde bezpecne do masterballu

Just a quick question... I've always wondered. What will you do if you accidentaly knock the Shiny out? I'm not soft-resetting because of that. I would KILL myself if something like that happened to me.

Well, this was the only shiny I've ever soft-resetted for
Plus when you're resetting something you get like a starter or an Eevee, you sort of can't knock the Pokemon out
And random encounters in grass? You can't do anything in such case

Soft resetting? So what did you do? Save, interact with Ho-Oh, then shut off and try again? Either way I am very happy for you!
