Yeah, but at the same time bottle in back is simply terrible xD
I always paint what I like and would like to and don't do enough work in places where it really should. And than things I like are done, but I'm already bored from this painting and start another.
Should do the opposite.
If you're working on parts you don't like or don't want to work, the piece will eventually be good

Haha, how true that is. I have the same problem with drawing people. I love drawing the face and spend a lot of time on that, but when it comes to drawing their clothing, I half-ass it and leave it kind of crappy. XD
Yes! It really helps your improvement to work on things you hate to draw. I used to be really bad at drawing guys, and hated doing it, but then I forced myself to improve and now I love doing it. I think the main thing that makes drawing a certain thing boring is lack of confidence and skill in that area, so working on that helps to make it funner once you get better at it.

I think this is really good! It is a bit hard to tell if the bottle is transparent or not though? The kettle and apple look brilliant, the shades and lighting on the objects looks perfect, except it seems like the shadow on the apple is falling the wrong way? (To the left)

Shadow is falling on right and left because there are two light sources.
