Rough sketch of LG-GAT-X105 Gale Strike Gundam, one of the newest gundam from the newest VS Astray. Unfortunately most people actually dislike it, they say the color's weird ([link] ) which i think it's perfectly fine to me even if i'm color blind, the ridiculous shield placement (not visible on my picture) although the shield actually connected with manipulator and can actually protect Gale Strike from almost any side (except bottom) and since it wasn't hand carried Gale Strike is able dual wield its weapon. But most hate comes from the fact that Gale Strike only reusing its old Aile Strike kit for its model kit, however its clear that is Bandai's plan to sell a new kit with low production cost, and from that pov i'll have to say Gale Strike is very well designed, i myself can't think about any idea half better than itAnyway the original Gale Strike is owned by Bandai, Sunrise & Sotsu Agency, while the original mecha designer is unknown to me, but probably bee-craft's

I agree on what people say about re-using and selling but hey, They have no Idea how hard their line of work is! They should show some respect about it! I agree about the design but the color is yeah, crazy but hey, use some paint and recolor it the way it suits you. Better improvise than to complain.

The posing of the Gundam here is great. Also, I'm surprised that people don't like the Gale's color-scheme. I've found that light-blue and medium-orange go very well together.

cool! the color scheme kinda reminds me of Gai Murakumo's Blue Frame.

I like the wat it looks, i'm not sold on the colors either, but thats becasue I'm not a fan the color orange and with its face mostly being coverd in blue, but aside from that I think its a really kool looking gundam, and your pic make it look awsome

Hmmmm..... I must be the strange one in the crowd then, Ive always liked how the new series have all had various similarities in their gundam designs! It just makes more sense in a way, like how weapon design is nowadays(For instance, the US military has been making different variants of the m-16 since vietnam, since its a good design. They don't make every single one of their main weapons completely different, but they do have small changes in the overall design...I am also really sorry if that whole thought made no sense what so ever... I have been up for 16 hours, and my mind is just about to act like moosh.)
And to finish all this off, that is one sweet sketch! Cant wait to see the finished version!

don't worry i'm with you, when i was a newbie i always thought that external appearance is everything, it's like "cooler means stronger" but then i learned the true concept of strength doesn't always lies within power, size, or amount but more importantly it also lies within concept. Like a short martial artist can easily defeat a man bigger than him
But truth to be told most people just being skeptic at the beginning "If you're different people don't accept you, if you're similar people calls you "copycat", if you're standard people calls you boring"
Anyways, it seems i won't be able to complete it, my 5th semester just got started, the schedule & assignment are pretty hellish i only sleep around 5 hours everyday

Wow, nice angle and pose, looks quite balanced and still in a very dynamic bending, specially on the legs.
Prrp! Gale's color scheme is fine indeed, it is better somethig sober, the reb-blue-white sceme is cool but it have been to over-exploded all these years.

Dunno, but it seems the amount of people who hate it is enough to to made the designer to change the original color. Gale Strike mouth plate color is originally blue & Hail Buster is originally blue & yellow

People hate this Strike? The colors are good (yeah, I think orange and blue does a good combo), and the whole things pretty well-designed. But then, I guess I should start reading Astray to see this guy in action. ^^

Heavy gunner mode (single,double,multiple cannon),full blade mode (dgn striker bit, n claw),sniper mode (senjatanya : medium range weapon n super long range weapon with catapult system),dan fighter mode (tanpa senjata,fighter arm)....pasti oke tuh..

i think they should leave seed and astray alone let it sit for a few years then bring it back instead of beating a dead horse.

It won't be a good idea, for example if VS Astray released 2 years from now if there's a new series Bandai will certainly be busy with it, not to mention the probability of post series kit from 00 movie & HGUC
