p.s: stay away from the musical stage adaption too...it's lazy and shoehorning in songs from other movies that composer Irving berlin wrote. this is coming from a musical theater person/fan!

you really should watch it. although...there is a controversial moment in one of the songs called Abraham featuring blackface (for it was the times back then/long ago to do those things in 1930/40's film musicals) just be very aware of that fact*smiley face*

yeah it was (just wanted ya be aware of it not caught off guard or taken out of the movie) & yes, it's very good! I own it on dvd. the soundtrack is exactly like to film. unlike White Christmas who couldn't get rosemary Clooney because she was signed with another music label so instead they got jazz singer Peggy lee (whose most well-known for singing he's a tramp from lady & the tramp also spoke it too - fun fact!) also the same issue but different of Hans Christian Anderson movie soundtrack with Danny kaye.Β
p.s: hey! i'm going temporary leave DA cause of my three old 'Dell' laptop has been causing problems for me like overheating and deleting message that I spent long hours trying to type up. don't worry i've got another but an older 'Dell' model.
i'll just pop in now and then but not all 24/7*smiley face* also have plans to get/buy another laptop...i'm getting one made by Samsung! ya know the company that makes DVD players?

No! cause i didn't ask for one...the laptops my mother has brought me have mostly been Dell's and in my book they've a terrible track of lasting a long time!
wanted get operas on DVDs (filmed & stage) musical theater cast recordings and Bose headphone ear cushions.
also i'm huge fan of anime!Β
p.s: now with buying operas on dvd it can't be the same one unless there's a new & interesting take on it while staying as faithful to the work/source material as possible.
musical theater - i love old and mostly new ones but don't like is a Hollywood film/tv show turned into a musical or shoehorn in songs from other shows that composer wrote (as with Irving berlin) along the lines of jukebox musicals after Mamma mia are just look tacky and pale in comparison. Β Β
on anime - only buy regular/normal looking dvd...if available to own in that form?!
hate Blu-ray with a passion! for i believe they're a waste of time, effort and money.Β
