For: Hope you like it!*coughcough* I must say, that I couldn't hold myself back with this one,, I won't make painted backgrounds for sketch commissions a norm 8I

I'm noticing that you're using more and more your new style - that way of showing the brush shape in backgrounds and light shades. Are these some trials you're doing for improving your techniques, or you're doing it without even noticing? xD

Thank you!! And well I usually notice the improvement when I'm done with the drawing and compare it directly with an older one 8I However, what I often notice is when I'm having less difficulties drawing something,, so the change is actually quite notable if I think of how often I struggled during the background-part of drawings
Like I am totally aware that I'm getting way more used to this style, which is great! Because I still need to experiment with it, to combine it better with my more detailed linearts for example owo''

Omg, every time you submit a new piece I just stare at the thumbnail in my messages like "It's already gorgeous in this tiny form, now I must click to see the bigger version and fEED MY EYES"
This is so incredible! I really think your art is always improving so quickly and getting better and better in every way. I've always loved your art since I first started watching you, but seeing your skills develop even further over time is such an amazing and awesome process to witness.
I looove the colors in this piece ;; Awesome music too, as usual!
By the way, do you often use a square brush? I think it looks like you do, but regardless I really love your brushstrokes! 8D

And yeah it's just recently that I've started to use a square brush for nearly 70% of my drawings! I still do sketch, lineart and usually the coloring too with round brushes,, but if it's for a sketch commission then I'll use it for shading and sometimes coloring too. (tho I still feel like I gotta work on how to connect my usual detailed linearts with the blocky backgrounds)
Commission:. Deadpuff I think it was with this piece, that I started figuring out how to work with the brush!
And the initial reason why I've started using it, was to get better at one-layer painting and I realized that it worked really well with this specific brush!

I've been using a square brush for a long time and I rarely use any other brushes anymore! I love it a lot, but I really love the way you use it. And oooooh I see, that's a gorgeous one ff ♥
I'm still too afraid of painting in a single layer, haha! I really need to break out of my comfort zone, and honestly I think your pieces are really inspiring when it comes to gathering motivation/BRAVERY to do it!
Omg, I would love that so much! 8D No worries about the price increase, your art is worth every penny. Do you have a time estimate as to when you might open your commissions again? I have character who I think would look amazing in your style, but there's another who I think you'd portray very well also but he doesn't have a ref yet, so I wanna see how much time I might have to draw him up ♥

Aah yes, I still use multiple layers tho, especially with commissions owo'' you don't need to make a huge jump, small steps can do just fine too!! I know exactly how hard it can be to expand the comfort zone nwn'' Like I can currently paint a background on one layer, but for the characters in front, I still do everything separated
I might need another month or so to get through the list x: the next two weeks are gonna be hectic with school work, so I can't say for sure how much I'll get done. But I wouldn't mind at all to save you a slot anyway when I re-open c: you can take as much time as you need!!

AHHH 8D I most certainly haven't changed my mind because I will always adore your art to death and want to see my characters in your style, but I need to make more money before I can spend again ;;
Would it be possible to add me to the list, and then I pay right before you start mine? I'd be happy to go last so that I would have more time to gather up enough money before you reach my commission. If you can't do that, no problem! I'll just make sure to save up and keep that amount until you open up your commissions again ;U; <3
