Description I was shocked after reading Batman Incorporated #8 where Damian Wayne was murdered by his own mother, through the hand of the Heretic.
But, I was more surprised with Batman and Robin #18 Requiem

It is an almost entirely text-free issue. There are no words spoken for none are needed. There is no omniscient, self-aware voice-over narration to accompany the images as they shift and coalesce on the page. There is nothing to mitigate the loss that blankets Wayne Manor like a shroud. The silence is unrelenting and unforgiving and ultimately, it speaks louder than any words possibly could. What does one say in the face of insurmountable loss? When confronted with the finality of death, words fail us as Bruce Wayne moves through the manor, haunted by the spaces where Damian Wayne used to be.

So soon after the death of Robin, the traces of his presence are still fresh. A single glove, so small against Batman's own gauntlets. A unfinished family portrait that Damian will never sit for again. A sketchbook full of drawings of the only true family a boy had ever known. A dog waiting for an owner that will never come home. As Batman heads into the night, perhaps too haunted by memories he can't hope to escape, Robin begins to disappear from view. One minute, he is there. The next, he is not. The silence makes his absence that much keener as Bruce's heart breaks and ours break with it.

The only words we read in the entire issue come in the form of a note Damian left for Bruce before leaving, never to return. It's almost too tidy a farewell, considering the character's story arc since his first appearance but it's a neat juxtaposition to Bruce's wordless grief, masterfully illustrated . Bruce finally lets all the pent up rage,and smashes the locker where Robin's suit is,  scattering the fallen hero's gear, reminding Bruce of the limp body of his beloved son. The last image in the issue is Bruce Wayne clutching to the costume of his lost son.

It's such a painfull scene that I HAD to draw it, especially after drawing the hug from issue #14

I know the feel of being reading a comic and to understand the so many feellings put in every page, and feel the need to represent that, to draw that scene. I've read the chapter and I went speechless. So many loss, so many pain, that brutal silence in every panel.

I don't like it, your art. I love it, It's so emotional, so beautiful, so inspiring. I always had a soft spot for the batfamily, this totally broke my heart ;_;

Thank you! You're comment is everything I wanted to hear. I'm so glad to know that there is someone who understands my need to redraw scenes like that, it's not even about the pain or sadness, it's about all the emotions I felt seeing it. I can recall every emotion I had while reading the issue, just by looking at one panel. The share brutality they inflicted on a 10 year old child was crushing. But showing Bruce, the Batman, being driven into maddening grief, doing something so irrational as crashing into a lantern or punching the locker or even that final hugging scene (that was was heartbreaking) It never needed words, it never needed blood or a body.
It left emptiness inside me. I read it before the Robin return, and I was sure that Damian Wayne would be another Jason, to be placed in a memorial case and serve as a warning. I'm glad they choce to continue with the story line. Even while dead, Robin made Batman look more human. Thank you again for your comment, I'm really glad you shared you opinion! ^^

people die only when we forget about them, the long we remember they will life forever right in our hearts... ^^ thats what my grandmother  thought me. life and follow, fight for dreams, fight for love. your arts showing what you feel, my instinct tell me that. i realized this 2 month ago, you are like reflect of me in the mirror but in woman gender. Everything is Yin, Yang is Everything. you are like white lily, never forget about that. you must be happy.

 I am flattered about your poetic essay, but I would've preffered to have this conservation about the art or topics related to them. That's what the comment section below is for. Anyway, I'm glad you find my pic good. I appreciate every review.

Thank you! As an budding artist and a comic book lover, I'm really bent on learning from the best.  Bruce's wordless grief, was masterfully illustrated by Gleason, Mick Gray (inks), and John Kalisz (colors).  The unique style and the addition of coloring (most of the mangas are b&w, afterall) makes them so interesting. I'm mostly interested in emotional scenes, with portraying  the characters as humanly as possible.
Bruce's silence pain, althought heartbreaking, was highly inspiring. I couldn't help, but draw and analyse it to the core.
