I'm so happy Ponyo came out on DVD in America! We've probable watched it a dozen times already, my sister and I.I am always curious as to how Fujimoto met Granmamare. I always pictured him like a has-been sailor who one day gets lost at sea or something. Applying that thought to my new water color pencils, this little piece was born. It came out a little too gritty, but I like it. Granmamre, your hair is amazing!~~~ It was so fun to color.
