I met death TodayI met him while my tires screamed
He drove a silver Escalade
I met him while my friend screamed
On the wrong side of the road
The driver too busy screaming on the phone
Nowhere to go but straight
I met Death today
He brought her to her senses
He made her swerve
Death saved me
I met Death today
He was sitting in the passenger seat of a silver Escalade
He too the steering wheel from the driver
He took her foot off the gas
He’s the reason I’m alive
Death isn’t such a bad guy
He’s just in a good line of work
I Met Death today
He made the screaming woman steer away
Death is the reason I’m alive
I want to thank Death
Death made the woman put her phone down
He made her realize she was on the wrong side of the road
He made her realize she was speeding
He made her realize she killed two innocent people
Death Saved me
