The stationary person waiting (you) in comparison to the steam engine in motion provides a vision of the situation that matches the title "Waiting for my Ride".
The present-day viewer is familiar with waiting for a means of transportation. Since steam trains are rare these days, this scene is highly original to our eyes. The technique is good, the steam and smoke of the train provide a powerful sense of motion. I assign 4 out of 5 to technique because the train portion and the baggage cart portion appear to have been meshed together well, but not perfectly. Impact is excellent. The Vision matches to the title, and the steam and smoke convey motion so well. Also, the angle of the train motion (not vertical or horizontal) is, in my opinion an impactful representation of life, where things are not usually all horizontal or all vertical.
A very pleasing item to view!
