I actually started this one as an example for someone from a company, but as I worked on it, it started looking really nice. So eventually I thought, why not make this my new site. And also I wanted to take a new style, somewhat classier.I worked on this one from 4 pm to 3 am and I'm really tired right now. I just want to upload this thingey, and I hope you guys like. And the Contact page has the big picture on it to fill it, for now...
When I know enough css to code this m'furka, I will replace that with something nice. Anyway, PLEASE leave some comments this time because I'm getting really tired working my ass off for only 1 guy commenting in the end...

nice work on that design, I quite like the simplicity of it, and the choice of colours
I think I'd perhaps make it a little smaller in terms of height, to give it more of a slim feeling, but that's prolly just me, and it depends on what kind of content you want to fit in, of course

Ik wil wat zeggen!
Ten eerste: Als je een website wilt bouwen is de basis kennis van HTML echt het MINIMUM, zelfs als je niet degene bent die de website daadwerkelijk gaat bouwen. Als je nu al basiskennis had van HTML wist je dat je nooit in photoshop moet gaan zitten slicen. NOOIT! Photoshop sliced alles zo scheef dat het onoverzichtelijk wordt.
Ik denk dat je hulp nodig hebt van iemand die het wel kan en al eens heeft gedaan. Ik kan het ook, maar het is handiger om het een vriend te vragen het je te laten zien ofzo.
kleine uitleg: Als je de laatste versie van je website hebt ga je hem eigenlijk verdelen in meerdere stukken die je dan uiteindelijk er uit gaat croppen. Probeer de maten van de gecropte delen zo simpel mogelijk te houden: ipv 24px bij 79 px kan je heb beter in 25px bij 80px bijvoorbeeld. Dat maakt het allemaal een stuk makkelijker, want je zult het uiteindelijk allemaal in tabellen moeten gaan stoppen. Je zult de 'background="/images/schaduw_links.jpg"' vaak moeten gebruiken
Dit zal je zeker weten helpen: [link] . Kijk ook even naar de links onder de uitleggen. expra examples ofzo, vaak erg handig (vooral bij de tabellen!).

Thanks voor de info, natuurlijk slice ik mijn websites niet zomaar, ik doe het layerbased, oftewel ik maak een button op 1 layer apart, en niet een aantal buttons op dezelfde layer. Op die manier kan ik alles makkelijk integreren. Er zitten ook nog wat flash elementen in, dus het is niet volledig css/html.

It looks nice but I think you need more text hierarchy and the orange BG: the hilight area draws my eye away from the design, thats not something you want to happen.

No problem: If you have a piece of work you think needs a critique dont be afraid to note me: I watch a lot of people and overlook a lot of thier works since some people upload 10 pieces a day and I dont have time to critique 10 pieces per day.

I make about all my stuff in Adobe Photoshop. Right now, I'm working with CS2, but I'm going to install CS3 anytime soon this week.
