Drew this a while ago. I really just wanted to draw pink sky.I didn't use reference, so ...I don't know, something's wrong D: But it's done. Moving on.
I guess the movie-Laurie is ten times cuter, but this is what she looks like in my head.
Wanted to post some stuff of 2008 before the year ends.

I know this has been said like 8 thousand times, but this is just exactly how I always pictured Laurie while reading the graphic novel. Her face is spot-on, and just by looking at her thumbnail, I was like "THAT'S LAURIE!"

Yes, I like your Laurie much better than the movie version--she's supposed to be one of the "normal" one in a weird way, and the whole bewitched look to the movie actress just doesn't do it for me.

I think that she looks awesome the way you drew her--you really captured the character. I actually thought, "Hey, I recognize her..." even though her face and hair are generic, because you perfectly interpreted her face!
