I really loved this game, but there was so little to fangirl about, that it's almost heartbreaking.WHY, ATLUS, WHY?!
Persona 5 and all the characters belong to Atlus. I think.

But was it still a nice game? I really love the Persona series, but haven't found time to play P5 yet T^T

Yeah, it was nice. But not as great as P4, at least, for me. It looks better, it has better design and gameplay, and pretty everything is better overall, but I loved characters and social-links from P4 so much, I can't even start, and in P5 they're... just good.
Just my opinion, though. I know a lot of people dislike P4 or prefer P3 (or even P2, lol).

But you are right the social links are one of the most important parts of the game series. I can still remember some that I liked sooo much that I cried. I will see how much I like the new ones then. Now I am even more eager to play *g*
I've never played p2, but I never can decide between P3 and P4, both had really good parts. I usually say P3 but then I think about the great cutscenes in P4 and yeah XD I love the whole fandom, so! PQ is also really good because the characters of 3 and 4 get mixed up there.
