Description These are two more test-paints of the soon-to-be-produced female foo-dogs. These are really fun to paint , and I hate painting. Both have glass eyes and Swarovski jewels set in their collars.They are cast in gypsum and are about 6 inches tall.
(The dog on the left has been flipped in photoshop, they are both casts of the same sculpture)

They are Asian guardian figures. They are supposed to be lions, but are called foo-dogs incorrectly, by people like me.
They are also called komainu or Shishi. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chinese_…

Yeah, I was trying to make something in between a dog and a cat.
"Foo-dog" is an incorrect name for them, but I like it anyway. Real, traditional foo-dogs" are supposed to represent lions.
