Looks to me like this might be the aftermath of the first time they EVER got naughty together, because it was kinda a "once only" thing when Lara was still human.

Of coruse, she's just got a robotic body, and while that has it's ups and downs, she's still in there and she's not wasting another second of life, she's going to make Maria hers!
