Alright, dished out a cute little comic ( 4koma, to be precise ) about whether the female Unova Starters can look charming.Serperior:
Problems being feminine? None.
It looks cute, no real masculine traits. It even has bunny ears ( somewhat )!
For me, it's even more feminine that it is masculine!
Emboar:
Well, at first, I thought it was almost impossible to think this as a feminine thing.
So I imagined some things to make it look easier. The beard turned in a collar, and the eyebrows became it's hair.
Simple enough right? Oh, before I forget... people seem to care about ''curves'' lately...
Samurott:
It's probably more feminine than Emboar, but still, I can't make an excuse for it's moustache.
Probably alot of feminine Pokémon got those staches/whiskers. I wonder why they didn't give female Samurotts at least smaller whiskers.
It always can use it's hidden pair of swords to cut it's whiskers off, but maybe part of their dignity lies there.

Some just take pride in them, I guess.
I always loved Serperior ( My favorite Pokémon now ), I've been able to bond with Emboar as well, but Samurott is absolutely adorable as well.
In other words, I like this starter trio the most. ( I don't like Kanto starters that much, to be honest. )

I have a female shiny and normal samurotts on pokemon black and i love them two! really,i hate the stereotypes for the aspect of the pokémon.
Other examples:
Female glaceons (this is a problem.) all the eeveelutions have a male ratio too,for the..''thing'' on his head all think they are females. I have a male glaceon and i love it.
Male umbreons (i have this problem.): the umbreons have ratio of female and a ratio of be male. All thinks umbreon is male for be black. I have 3 female umbreons in pokemon black,and,i can get more.

I don't really see the point of trying to make a pokemon more feminine or masculine if its female or male unless maybe to suit their personality. They're not humans, why not just leave them as they are?

In some perspective, a human is considered an animal as well.
The main difference between those mainly is sentience, and a Pokémon is basically a sentient animal, especially in the Mystery Dungeon world.
In other words, I think they wouldn't care most of the time, but to fit the humor, I made them be like that.

I have a female emboar and I love her! I don't care if she's not feminine, she's still one of my favourites.
I tend to see pokemon like animals [even if some don't look like animals] and have different gender-differences
than us humans. [Like peacocks being more brightly coloured than peahens]

You are AMAZING! And here I thought it was really difficult to give Emboar feminine characteristics. In due time, I will draw my team and I was having a hard time thinking of how to make an Emboar look feminine, but your drawing made me more confident in being able to pull it off. I love my female Emboar (named "Botan,") even more now!

I never had a problem with female Samurotts, considering that their whiskers. Stoutlands have them, too, and mine is female. No problems there. Besides, since they're a species normality perhaps shorter whiskers would mean 'less attractive' or 'submissive', as it is often in real life with real animals.

Samurott's mustaches are made of 0.1% hair and 99.9% pure awesome. Honestly I feel a Samurott would wear their stache with pride even if they are female. Funny comic though.
I love Samurott, rather indifferent to Snivy line in general, and don't like Tepig line other than Tepig itself. Favorite starter is Charizard but my favorite trio is the Hoenn starters though, love them all and have a hard time choosing one.

me and my big brother made this up when we first saw the starters, emboars have pride, samurotts have honor, and serperiors have revenge so since samurott cut her beard of me and my brother say she lost her honor so if they loose any of that there a digrace

Offensive stats don't go along well without speed or defense. I'm not that fond of Infernape, but it's stats is the best of the three, competitive wise.
Although I do love Petaya Empoleon.

Empoleon is awesome, and offensive states do work if they are really good, but then you mainly have to concentrate on one.
Of course, the problem with the speed is there, but if you are strong enough to beat the enemy in one round, you maximally have to handle with one attack, and by the way...I hate most defensive pokémon, the only one that seems interesting to me is Articuno, because it learns mind reader and sheer cold, and that's possibly the strongest combination.
