When I decided to cosplay from Avatar, I went through the list of possible characters I could do. Azula, Mai, Suki, Ty Lee, even Zuko came to mind. But, there was one character I LOVED to pieces and knew I could make and quickly.June (The creators of the show said June, not Jun) She is badass, in 3 episodes and can keep both the fire nation and the avatar gang in line. I made this for Anime Boston in about 2 days on a whim. It was tons of fun to walk around in and very VERY comfortable. Best part was is that she got tons of love. (even got hit on by an Iroh and got to put a Zuko in line.)
Very fun times and I do want to wear her again sometime soon.

I cosplayed June for the premier of The Last Airbender (not a whole costume, like yours, just a black outfit and the hair) I have a question- when you put your hair back again, did your eyes hurt? The dark/light contrast seemed to screw mine up a lot.
