Description
I'm constantly annoyed by the lack of appropriate pockets in bags and backpacks for pens and things, so I decided that I needed to make myself a pencil case.

It's made from an old t-shirt I liked too much to toss but not enough to keep wearing it regularly. Pulling clothes from the closet is so much easier when I can see the new life they've been given. The lining is some random denim I acquired from a friend, and the button-and-loop closure is just a button and ribbon I had in my stash. As you can see, it's quite roomy. At the moment it's home to pencil, eraser, two pens, a sharpie, a highlighter, a small pad of post-its, and a set of those note flag thingies.
