Description This is my second build using a few of the new bionicle parts. This was just a quick mock-up to use the large white weapon parts.

About 2 months ago I learned of the return of Bionicle, and was lucky enough to have LEGO send me a selection of the new parts to play around with before the unveiling at New York Comic Con.

This whale rahi would be an awesome collecter set.

with all the sharp edges, looks more like a shark but still looks awesome

"Quick mock-up"
Yeah right. There's nothing "quick" about figuring out how large weapon parts can fit together, and at what angles, and how to connect them...

And then finding the right parts from your large bin of parts...
Maybe that last part is just me.

Compared to the time and effort I put into most of my work, this was relatively quick.  To me, this is just a sketch.

It still took at least a couple hours, right?

Interesting that so many weapon pieces make up what is by and large a peaceful animal.

And so the old ways have joined with the new. A very graceful piece, much like the creature it emulates. Very well-done, good sir.

Took me a second to see where the new parts were, but nice!
